An Arts et Métiers engineer with a Master’s degree in Advanced Robotics from the Ecole de Mines de Paris, David Gualino has built a career at the crossroads of research, industry and technological innovation, with a marked specialisation in autonomous mobile robotics and a desire to contribute to Industry 5.0.

Digital systems architect with 35 years’ experience in project management in a variety of innovation contexts. Expertise in the development of mission-critical and certified applications.

Scientific advisor
1st class Research Director at Inria Grenoble Rhône-Alpes. He heads the e-Motion team and then the Chroma team, specialising in embedded perception and intelligent vehicles. He has co-founded four robotics start-ups. He has received numerous IEEE awards, notably for his contributions to autonomous navigation and Bayesian reasoning.

Research engineer at Inria, with over 10 years’ experience in embedded perception for mobile robotics, from Bayesian probabilistic modelling to GPU implementation optimisation.

Daniel Pilaud
From 1999 to 2007, he was CEO of Polyspace Technologies. He sold his company to Mathworks. From 2011 to 2019, he was co-manager of IT-Translation. Since 2019, he has been a Venture Partner at Elaia.

Laurent Julliard
Chief Architect at Google Cloud, where he advises executives on cloud strategies, with a focus on machine learning and data analytics. He has more than 30 years’ experience in technology leadership, including positions as vice-president at Schneider Electric and director at startup Kalray. He also founded the SaaS startup Nuxos Publishing Technologies.
